MEMBER SURVEYS
In June 2008, HCD and our Fitness Business Research partners kicked off an advanced survey project in partnership with Katie Rollaur, Senior Research Manager at IHRSA.   These in-depth studies will allow us to understand the buying patterns of our customers and all aspects of exercise psychology in ways that have never been studied.  Our work will be featured in journals, magazines, workshops and seminars (including IHRSA's 2009 Conference in San Francisco) in 2008 and beyond.  Furthermore, Les Mills International has joined forces with IHRSA and HCD to further study our current club members on an international level.  Much of these studies will reveal key insights on member retention and also the key components of group fitness services.  If you would like any studies conducted at your club, please contact us and we can develop the custom survey,  collect and filter the data and present it to your club in any way you request.  Their is no better way to learn about your members and showcase your member services. 

In May of 2009, HCD signed an official working agreement with one of the leading health care research and promotional groups in the United States, Advance Health Solutions (AHS) of California.  Our cooperative effort with AHS will have an end goal of gathering more research to help club operators understand both members and non-members and their buying patterns and needs for improved club operations & also will help collect meaningful data about our members and non-members to help advance the fitness business development and exercise initiatives being proposed in the Congress and Senate.
